ਸੰਖੇਪ ਪਰਿਚਯ

ਭਗਵਾਨ ਪਰਸ਼ੂਰਾਮ ਚੇਅਰ 2015 ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਹੋਈ। ਕਿਉਜੋ ਇਹ ਚੇਅਰ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਮ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜ੍ਹੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਮਹੱਤਵ ਸਵੈ-ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਹੈ। ਦਰਅਸਲ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਪਰਸ਼ੂਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਧਰਮ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਮ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਲਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾਦਾਇਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਤੋਂ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਤਰੀ ਰਾਜਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਤੱਵ ਨਿਭਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਹੀ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਦਿਖਾਈ, ਪਰ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਬੀਤਣ ਨਾਲ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਮਿੱਥ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਬਣ ਗਏ। ਇਸੇ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਚੇਅਰ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਪੱਖੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਪੜ੍ਹਨ, ਸਮਝਣ ਅਤੇ ਖੋਜ਼ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।

Brief Introduction

Bhagwan Parshuram Chair was established in 2015. As this chair is concerned with Indian Culture & religion, Its Importance is self explanatory. Bhagwan Parshuram is regarded as one of such divine incarnations who appeared on this earth to redeem the promise of establishing the path of righteousness at the time of its decline. His inspiring life story shows that he reminded the shirkers of their duties and put them in the right direction. But with the passage of time, his life and works became part of the myth. That is why; this Chair has been established to academically study and research his references from the History and Culture of India.

Objectives

1. To conduct Research on the literature related with Parshuram.
2. Enlighten the life and contribution of Bhagwan Parshuram with reference to the socio-cultural aspect.
3. To make reference dictionary related with Bhagwan Parshuram, We have collected the basic references from Vedas.
4. In number of Puranas, there are so many references of Parshuram and his services for society which needs to be collected in one book and it is possible only in Reference Book. So we have planned to compile Parshuram Kosh.
5. To organize Seminar on occasion of Parshuram Jayanti. (Every Year)
6. To highlight the contribution of Parshuram, this book will create a Website.
7. Research to be carried out relating to the Literature and relevance of teachings of Bhagwan Parshuram.

1. Literature related with Parshuram is being collected by the Chair.
2. We are Planning to Publish a journal with Research based articles related to Bhagwan Parshuram.

Efforts

1. We invite regularly other Scholars of this field and other representatives in our Seminars and we make them aware of Bhagwan Parshuram's Achievements.
2. We will preach the teaching of Bhagwan Parshuram through our proposed Publish Work.

Bhagwan Parshuram is an inspiration for the present Generation. His teachings guide the society. That is why, through his literature, we are continuously Working to convey his Duties and Teachings to the present society.
